This project focused on preventative chimney maintenance to protect the structure from long-term weather damage and extend its overall lifespan. Our team completed professional tuckpointing to repair deteriorated mortar joints, restoring structural stability and helping prevent moisture from entering the masonry.

To further safeguard the chimney, a crown coat was applied to seal small cracks and reinforce the chimney crown, creating a protective barrier against water penetration. The project was completed with an application of ChimneySaver water repellent, a breathable treatment designed to repel moisture while allowing trapped vapor to escape, reducing the risk of cracking, spalling, and freeze-thaw damage.

These preventative upgrades help preserve the chimney’s integrity, improve durability, and provide reliable protection against Wisconsin’s harsh seasonal conditions while maintaining the chimney’s overall appearance.
