Crown Replacement – Hartford

Located in Hartford, WI, this project focused on a complete chimney crown replacement to restore protection and prevent future water damage. The existing crown had begun to crack and deteriorate, allowing moisture to penetrate the brickwork and mortar joints below.

Our Fox River team removed the failing crown, cleaned the top course of brick, and poured a new, reinforced concrete crown designed with proper overhangs and drip edges for long-term durability. This new crown seals the top of the chimney while directing water away from the masonry surface.

With the replacement complete, the chimney is now structurally sound, weatherproof, and ready to stand up to Wisconsin’s harsh seasonal conditions for years to come.
