Chimney Flashing – Waukesha, WI

This Waukesha homeowner hired Fox River Home Improvements for a roof replacement, and during our inspection we identified a failing chimney flashing that was allowing water intrusion. To protect the new roof and prevent future leaks, we installed a chimney cricket flashing to properly divert water away from the chimney and rebuilt the chimney crown for added moisture protection.

Additional work included rebuilding damaged firebox brick, removing an outdated exterior vent, and sealing the opening with matching brickwork. New gutters and downspouts were also installed to complete the water management system.

This project highlights how proper chimney flashing is critical to the long-term performance of both the roof and chimney.
