Chase Covers – Germantown, WI

Located in Germantown, WI, this project involved replacing a damaged chimney chase cover and rebuilding a rotted wood crown to restore both protection and structure to the chimney. The existing metal cover had rusted through, allowing water to seep in and cause significant deterioration to the wood framing beneath.

Our Fox River team carefully removed the damaged materials, replaced the rotted wood, and rebuilt the crown to its original shape using treated lumber for lasting strength. Once rebuilt, we installed a custom stainless steel chase cover with proper cross breaks and a raised flue collar to ensure water drains away from the chimney top.

With the new crown and chase cover in place, the chimney is now fully protected from the elements—delivering improved durability, function, and a polished appearance for the home.
