This project in Hartland, WI involved a full restoration of a deteriorating chimney chase. Our team removed the old, rusted chase cover and discovered extensive wood rot beneath it. We replaced all the damaged wood and built out a new, durable wood crown to properly support the new custom-fabricated stainless steel chase cover. In addition, we replaced sections of rotten siding on the chase and installed new flashing to ensure the entire structure is watertight and protected from future weather damage. The result is a completely restored and long-lasting chimney chase that looks great and performs even better.
