Chimney Chase Rebuild – Muskego, WI

For this project in Muskego, WI, our team at Fox River completed a full chimney chase rebuild and restoration. The work included removing the existing siding, inspecting for vapor barriers, and replacing any areas of rotten decking or structural defects. The chase was then properly wrapped, sealed, and finished with new siding.

We also rebuilt the wood crown with a new tiered design to direct water away from the chase, fabricated and installed a custom enameled steel chase cover, and added a storm collar for additional protection.

To ensure long-term durability, we replaced the deteriorating chimney flashing. This involved removing surrounding shingles, installing new step flashing with ice and water shield, and custom-bending new 24-gauge enameled steel cover flashing to create a watertight seal.

These upgrades provide lasting protection against water intrusion while restoring both the function and appearance of the chimney.
